dewey's point

went on another trip to yosemite this weekend and took a hike to dewey's point. here are a few snap shots of the trek.

one of the things i like best about portland is that what would be a typical neighborhood of limited variety elsewhere is a smorgasbord of creative energy here. forget neighborhood councils that put ridiculous regulations on what your house or yard may or may not look like. the west is full of diy energy that although is not always pretty can certainly entertain me for many strolls to come.

this is one of the better executed vehicle artworks i've spotted in my vicinity. i am led to believe it is owned by someone who works at the together gallery, a local artist collective around the corner from me.

i saw a nightmare this morning

i want, like i never wanted a car before. to ride everywhere in a nightmare is my dream.
