ever since landing on the streets of portland one thing i can't stop noticing are all the unique vintage automobiles scattered along curbs. there everywhere, which i'm guessing is a product of the cities mild winters not requiring the rust inducing salt used on roads elsewhere in our country.
of all styles of four wheel momentum the van has surely taken center stage. well, at least for me and my roommate, who have commented on the awesome swagger these small economy boxes exude. i began to take photos of cars during the summer not sure what plans i had for the images and eventually pocketed the endevor, but i still take time to admire these old butes as i pass by.
today i was coming back home and saw this little silver bomb sitting just a block up the street. so, i snapped a few shots and decided to share a bit of the intrigue with you all. like an ugly baby maybe only a few souls will find the beauty in these beasties, but you can't deny its an interesting creature none the less.
